In 1993, members of the Garden City, Michigan Post 396 wanted a way to combine the legion with those who love riding motorcycles. Founded by Chuck Dare and Bill Kaledas, the American Legion Riders was born. There are now over 1,000 chapters and 100,000 members worldwide.

How to join
If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving – you are eligible for membership in The American Legion! Fill out the form here to join.
